The Inevitability of Aging...
I have been pondering the inevitability of aging over the past few days. You see..I am turning 31 on November 3. I know that some of you don't think that is very old at all...and you are right...it's not.. But...it's the oldest I've ever been... My thoughts on getting older have gone along the lines of getting in shape...getting healthier...quitting smoking..you know the drill.. I'm not getting any younger... Now's the time... Right? It will be easier if I do it all now than to wait until I am 40....right? I certainly hope so.. I DID go back to the gym today...and I AM wearing a patch as of this moment..(although at any moment I could rip it right off and go chainsmoke a couple..) I am considering all of this my birthday present to myself...sort of a way to insure that I have another birthday coming after this one...and possibly many more after that...
