8th Anniversary...

Today is mine and Bart's 8th Wedding Anniv. It is hard to believe that we have been together for a whole decade. (yes I can count..we were together for 2 years before getting hitched for all you smartasses who may comment that I cannot count..)

As for plans for today we may dump the kids on the parents next door and go to a movie. (hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy) I will post more as to how the movie was..

Anyways I am off to try to eat something..

Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.
Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths:
Prices will rise.
Politicians will philander.
You, too, will get old.
And when you do, you'll fantasize that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don't expect anyone else to support you.
Maybe you have a trust fund.
Maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse.
But you never know when either one might run out.

Don't mess too much with your hair or by the time you're 40 it will look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen.

Ok Travish...An Update...

I know it has been a while since i have posted anything new here..so here goes an update...

The Crawfish boil was amazing!!(Thanks Trav for cooking we couldn't have done it without you!!) A good time was had by all!!

May 19 was Bart's birthday and I was Baptized by the Reverend Horton Heat for the first time ever!! We saw them at The Engine Room with The Supersuckers...I have never had such a good time at a show...(could have been the beer too..LOL) Anyways if you have never heard the Rev I higly suggest you run out and buy every CD he has on the shelf..you will be an instant convert...

I have done some shopping this month..another of my favorite past times...got a new Gas Grill, a mixer, a blender, a microwave,a water distiller, some new teeth, and paid off my car..I guess you could say I won the lotto...LOL

Bart and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniv on Sunday the 29th so I am gearing up for that as well...

School is out for the summer..I hope we survive it..Will post more as it happens..

Crawfish Boil..

Well tonight I am getting ready for a Crawfish boil tomorrow at my home. We are doing 120lbs of mudbugs..Yummy...

Left on the to do list:
Clean 2 bathrooms
Vacuum entire house
Dust all furniture
Finish laundry

It is going to be a long night...people will start showing up tomorrow around 1.

It should be awesome..

Gotta get back to work..
Will post pics tomorrow..

Monday!

Saying Goodbye For Now

I have decided to take a break from blogging. I have a lot of personal stuff going on in my life right now with the kids, and school for myself, basically a lot of stuff that takes up my time. I will try to post updates at least once a week but for now I am going to focus on school and my kids and stuff like that. Besides things here have gotten a little too ugly for my tastes lately. I have been personally attacked for my mothering skills, and made fun of for my dietary beliefs. Who knew people could be so mean? Anyways. Everyone have a nice life. I am going to go and live mine.
