One Year Today....
Today marks the one year anniversary of my Father passing away. He passed away at 3:45pm on August 30, 2004. It is hard to believe that it has been a year already. I feel the same panic today that I felt on that day when I got the call....strange. ( I have been told that is normal...however nothing will be normal ever again)
I miss you daddy....

Home Again...
Well we are home again from vacation...Back to reality..
New Orleans was awesome!!(what I remember of it..wink wink) I have some good shots of us on Bourbon street that I am going to upload later on when the kids are chilled or maybe tomorrow while they are at school(YAY)...It was really great to see everyone this past weekend..I got to see Pat and Molly, Esther and Levi and Mom and Eric...And I ate so much I gained 6 pounds!! Now back to the diet and exercise regimen that is reality..but damn it was good to eat some good cajun food and see everyone!!
I will post pics either later on today or after the kids go to school tomorrow..

Been Awhile....
Yes I know it has been awhile since I have posted here...It has been a very busy week getting ready for school to start. I forgot how FUN school shopping was..NOT! Today I am finishing up getting ready for school and putting the finishing touches on the house before we go to visit my brother. I cannot wait!! I need this vacation so badly!!

What we worked on this past weekend....
This past weekend seemed to be the weekend to clean out the Crap Room in the back of the house....This room was originally planned to be my Gym...all of the proper equipment was there but you couldn't get to it to use it...
We worked most of the weekend to clean it out..
I have become somewhat of an exercise addict over the past two weeks...This has been an on again off again love affair for a couple of years now....I have a very nice Crossbow Platinum home gym...a very nice Proform Treadmill and about any Exercise DVD you could ever want along with medicine balls...balance balls..steps...bands..rings..and just about anything else you can think of.. Now it is all organized where I can get to it...I will post pictures of my torture devices ..
This device is the Crossbow Platinum....I bought this two years ago..It is pretty awesome in that I can kill every muscle in my body in a very short amount of time...this machine is why I have trouble walking today...it has a squat station which I used yesterday and did 75 squats on at 100lbs of resistance..I didn't feel that worked out when I was done but today I am crippled..hmm maybe I should reduce the weight tommorrow when I do lower body again..
This is called the Ab Lounge Ultimate...This thing really works if you focus on good form..I have used it every day for the last 7 days and have taken two inches off of my waistline..It is not a comfortable exercise but what abdominal work is?? The fact is that this is one of the FEW infomercial exercise machines that actually works..I am on a schedule right now to use it every day for 100 ab lounge crunches followed by 50 oblique crunches on each side..My abs are sore on a daily basis but I am getting used to the pain..
This is the Treadmill...It is a ProForm DTL1800 Interactive Trainer...
This is the control panel for the treadmill...as you can see it has its own fan and stereo CD player..Pretty cool..The fan really helps....And the CD Player is awesome for jamming out while I am on there.....
Well I am off to torture myself some more...Talk to ya later on..

Tuesday..Catching Up
It has been awhile since I have even looked at the site...LOL. I have been very busy this week dealing with the boys and trying to get some housework done...(does that ever get DONE??)
Not much has happened to write about lately...
We are leaving next Thursday to go to Louisiana...(Just me and Bart) (NO KIDS!!) Randi and Sharon are coming to stay here with the boys while we are gone....Can you say PARTAAAAYYY!! We are planning on staying with my brother Pat and his Girlfriend Molly. I cannot wait..we are going to have so much fun...and I could really use some fun now....
This Thursday The Gourds are playing right here in Conroe for free!! Another fun evening to look forward to...we get to take the kids so Austin will finally get to see The Gourds...(He loves their music)
Well I am back to work...I have more housework and laundry and working out to do today...Song of the day is up next and maybe a funny pic..
