Saturday...Gonna be a busy day..
I have a lot to do today...I am doing marathon cleaning today..this is a good way to get your house clean..
Set a timer for 15 minutes.
Start in the kitchen and work furiously until the timer goes off and then reset it and move to another room and work until it goes off again..repeat with another room. Rest for 15 minutes..Repeat until the house is clean..
This is good to keep me from getting sidetracked.
I am planning on throwing in some workouts today too..probably 3o minutes of cardio with some weight training..
If I get a chance I will post a song of the day..

That's about it for today....I will post the song of the day soon as well as a funny pic. You guys have a great day...For me it promises to be another Floydian day...Just some kick I am on I guess...Glad I got those trance remixes for my workouts..LOL.

Monday Recap..
Today has been a full day..
We took the kids today to see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory...It was a good movie and they seemed to enjoy it.
The rest of the day I have spent here at home with the boys with them tearing s*&^ up as usual..
On the upside I learned yesterday how to make my own Mp4 ringers for my cell phone...Hee hee..I had been paying like 2 bucks for the longest time for crappy ringers from sprint..well no more of that...now I can make my own ringers and send them to my phone...I have some Pink Floyd ringers now..and some Zeppelin ones...and som Split Lip Rayfield, and The Gourds...Awesome...Oh and I made a Beastie Boys one for Intergalactic...I love that song..
I may post more information on how to do this if anyone is interested..
I am off to start dinner..Have a great day..I will post more tomorrow..

Sunday....
I am not feeling so hot today….Probably due to all of the beer and staying up too late…Randi and her mom came over last night with Jackson for the first time since he was born. He was so cute!! Austin got to hold him which really thrilled him… Rebecca and Shawn and their kids were here too..we had a good time… I am just so tired today…I know I need to work out but I don’t have the energy…maybe a slow pace walk on the treadmill today..we’ll see.. Today's Workout..
Today I got in 45 minutes on the treadmill...I tried one of the interval programs that was built into the treadmill and it nearly killed me!! I burned nearly 400 calories over those 45 minutes though!!Woo Hoo!!
Later On I am planning on doing a 10 minute abdominal circuit on the balance ball followed by a Core Secrets workout.
I started Journaling all of my food/calorie/fat/water intake again today. I think it will really help me get in shape faster to do a total diet and body makeover at the same time.
I would do a lot better with my cardio/treadmill workouts if I could quit smoking..(HACK HACK) One day at a time though. I will have Bart take some "before" pics of me today when he gets home from the front, back, and side, and I will post them and then post new ones every few weeks to guage my progress. (Maybe I will post measurements too..doubtful..but maybe)
I really want to stick with this program this time...15-20 pounds is not too much to ask for I don't think...I am 5 feet 8 inches tall and not really that heavy I just would like to tone up my arms, midsection, and legs.. I have put on about 25 pounds in the last year since my father passed away..mainly due to getting out of my diet and exercise habit due to depression. I am getting better though and find that the exercise is actually a mood booster...go figure..
Anyways I am off to wash and fold more laundry..(the neverending beast of a chore)

Strange Addiction
Ok It is official...I am addicted to Google Earth..(http://www.earth.google.com)
I have been sitting here for awhile looking at all my friends houses, and family members houses, and looking up old hangouts, and even some bars I have been to..LOL. It is a free download and you have to have high speed for it to work..But it is so awesome..You can tour the grand canyon with it and mount st helens, I haven't gone and looked at niagra falls yet..hmm somewhere else to put on my list...
The one downside is that most of the aerial views are a couple of years old so they are not live shots..(I called my brother and told him to stand in the driveway so I could see him..LOL) So I read the FAQ's and found out that the pictures are not recent....
Anyways it is a good thing...I am really enjoying it and I could see it as a really good educational tool for parents who were trying to teach geography to their kids...

Evening Recap...

2nd Workout For Today..

Today's Workout
Today's workout was from the Core Secrets Set. I really like Gunnar Peterson..He is a great trainer and the stability ball really challenges all of your muscles while lifting weight. I did the 25 minute total body workout. My fanny is sore so I guess that means I got something out of it..My arms feel like jelly too..
I may throw in a cardio workout like Tae Bo or a Ramp Aerobics workout later on if I can regain some energy...I will let you know..

Stupid Dog...
So I have been awake for awhile now....actually since about 3:45am CST. Thanks to stupid Layla...She started barking at one of the cows and would not shut up..and then of course I had to get up and pee...and then I got a leg cramp in my calf from those damn Fanny Lifter Step Aerobics...
So now I am up waiting on the coffee to finish brewing...Damn Dog..

Fanny Lifter!!!!
I know I used to rant about Tae Bo being kick ass....I just pulled out The Firm Body Sculpting System 2 with Sculpting Stick and Fanny Lifter and did one of the DVD's. Let me tell you why they call that a Fanny Lifter...Guaranteed if I did that every day of the week my ass would be right underneath the back of my neck..and my thighs would be the size of my wrists...Damn that hurts so good!! My heart is beating a million miles a minute and I am chugging water...I forgot how good it felt to sweat!!
Guess I will see how I feel tomorrow and try that one again!!

New Tagboard...
I added a totally new tagboard...it does live updating so more than one person can live chat on the page without refreshing...It also allows me to reserve names for use like mine(catwmn) and Bart's that way nobody can post posing as us. It also allows me to ban troublemakers by IP addresses and also ban entire domains if someone is really sneaky.

Monday Musing...
Wow...how did I get so lucky?? Guess today is going to be a typical monday...
I just got home from Target (needed to go and exchange some things) and found poo smeared on the wall in the twins bedroom...the toilet clogged in their bathroom and toys strewn everywhere...GREAT!! All of the poo stuff is taken care of already and I am not even going to try to clean up the toys at this time since I know they will just get strewn again at any moment...
Looks like it is going to rain shortly so there goes the idea of taking the kids out to play for awhile..
I gotta balance the checkbook(AKA Jokebook), write checks for bills, sweep and mop kitchen, clean kids bathroom(now becoming a daily chore with three little boys who cannot hit the pot to save their lives) and run the vacuum. Should be your average run of the mill monday...
I gotta get some tunes playing...my CD of Luther Wright and the Wrongs came today in the mail from Ebay..(hooray!!) I am off to jam and clean and then I have to do one of my step aerobics DVD's (can you say sore butt??)

Floydian Thoughts
I was browsing through Rhapsody last week and ran across a band from Canada who reworked the entire Wall album from Pink Floyd in Bluegrass fashion..
Now usually I would kind of balk at anyone messing with my Floyd...but I was drawn to this..so I pulled it up and started to listen to it...
I went through a wide range of emotions that ran from me falling out of my chair laughing...to really kind of being awestruck by the musical abilities of these guys...
If you ever get a chance to use Rhapsody...look up Luther Wright And The Wrongs album Rebuild The Wall.

Made some more changes to the blog...
I decided to add the chatterbox back because my brother loved to write to me on it and was bummed when I told him I took it off...I also added a weather magnet so you can all see what the weather is like where I am..(just in case you actually care)
I am in the process of adding some more pictures to my phototstream on flickr. Be sure to check back often as I am uploading huge amounts of photos to the photostream.

Botulism? My Morning Musing..
I'm sitting in my office looking out at the sky as the changing of the guard from night to day takes place while eating my breakfast. As I polish off my bowl of Kashi Mighty Kids Crunch I reach over and crack open my container of Brown Cow Cream On Top Strawberry yogurt.
I take a bite.
(Brain) hhmmm? tastes a little funny. better try another bite, not sure
Now most normal human beings would have stopped here, cut their losses on the can of bacteria filled dairy product and gone to the kitchen for a banana. Not me though, another spoonful later and I palpating it around my mouth.
(Brain) looks a little chunky...sometimes yogurts chunky though.
(Mouth) smack, smack, smack! More! More!
(Brain) Ok, maybe just one more bite. It could have been a flavor clash from the cereal...
Third bite into the container and I'm wondering what the heck I'm doing.
(Brain) well I've only got one or two more bites so it seems like a waste to toss the rest. Besides that which does not kill you make you stronger right
It's precisely this backwards kind of thinking that kills people. So, I'm off to start laundry hoping desperately that I don't have to see this yogurt again.
Note to self: if it tastes bad and looks bad it probably is bad. Don't eat it! Dummy!

It was a good day today....
It was a good day today...a very good day..I had some fun spending way too much money on my kids for their birthday and they thoroughly enjoyed opening the presents they got...it was a win win situation..here it is 10:30pm and they are still up playing with their new stuff and trashing the house..LOL That will end very shortly though because I am getting tired..
Time for me to fix the coffee pot and get the kids to bed..I am hoping we will get some rain here soon..I am starting to feel like willis has turned into the Sahara.
Off to bed for me and the fambly..Will post more tomorrow..

Happy Birthday Aaron and Christian!!
Today is my wonderful twin boys birthday!! They are 6 today. It seems like only yesterday we were bringing them home from the hospital. I cannot believe how fast time flies!! Now they are big and healthy and strong boys...(and sometimes mean) LOL...

Made Some Changes To The Blog...
As you can see I have made some changes to my blog....I have removed the tagboard as it had gotten way too juvenile for my liking...I also took away the ability to post comments on my posts. As these are my thoughts and I really don't care what anyone else thinks of them..I am going to try to take this whole thing in a more positive direction.

Heading To The Hospital...
I am getting my stuff gathered to head to the hospital. Randi and I have to be there at 7:15 to have her Induced. It should prove to be a very cool day...I am going to get to meet my Godson for the first time....how cool! I am taking a camera with so there will be plenty of pics posted when I get home tonight..
Everyone have a blessed day and I will write more when I am back..Off to pack trail mix and healthy snacks for myself so I don't have to eat hospital food..eww.

Tuesday...
Well I have a lot to do today...catching up on laundry, dishes, etc.
Randi is going to the doctor today for a checkup. The doctor told her if she didn't have the baby by today she would be induced on Wednesday(tomorrow). So that means that Jackson Ashmore will be born on July 6, 2005. Hooray!! I cannot wait to see what he looks like!! I love babies!! I would have a hundred more if they would stay babies..LOL.
Anyways..I am sitting here listening to some String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic on Rhapsody and sipping coffee. I am hoping to get some schoolwork done today too. (there is a link to the school I enrolled in a couple of months ago on the links area) I am looking into enrolling in Trinity College of Natural Health for their Naturopathic Doctorate program and the Master Iridologist Program. I am also looking into Clayton College Of Natural Health (http://www.ccnh.edu) for their programs on companion animal studies. (holistic health for pets)So I guess you could say that I will be a well rounded Natural Health Specialist when I am finished in several years...
Anyways..Back to work...

Saturday...
Today is Saturday and I am spending the day doing some healthy cooking and then studying some more in my books...It is going to be a real steamer today..probably over 100 degrees by 3 or so and we are invited to a party at 4 at a friend's house. I have a lot to do before then including buying a birthday gift and taking a shower and doing some laundry...
I am off to start my day..
