Two weeks down today..
Today I made it to two weeks without a smoke...pretty good huh? I decided to go off the patch today since it tears my skin up so badly..I have whelps everywhere I have worn one...oh well..don't need those either.. So far so good without the patch. It is after noon and I haven't hurt anyone... Woo Hoo. Cat

One Week Today
Well today it is a week since I smoked last...I know it sounds silly but I am proud of making it a week.(I honestly did not think I could have done it)....Patches Rock! I honestly think it is all the Pilates and energy pills I have been taking that have gotten me through the last week..I have been doing the Winsor Pilates workouts and taking the Fahrenheit fat burners.... So far so good.. Off to make coffee..Peace out.. Cat

Today is day 5...
Today is day 5 on the patch...It's not so bad really...I have to white knuckle it in the car and after I eat since those are the times I used to smoke...I have found that since I quit I have so much more time for other stuff...go figure.. Anyways we have kicked butt on the house this weekend.. We got the Washer and Dryer in the house and all I can say is WOW...I can't believe I can dry a load of clothes in one drying cycle..LOL. With the old dryer it took 3 cycles to get the clothes dry.. I have almost finished all of the laundry and we just have a couple of more rooms to touch up and the house will be clean.. I am off to finish up... Cya later. Cat

Dying For A Smoke...
It is only 11:20 and I am already about to fall off the wagon....I have tried everything to take my mind off of it...cleaning..downing water..Rescue remedy spray...taken all of my anti smoking supplements...and still I am dying for a smoke...I keep telling myself that if I just wait 15 minutes the craving will go away but then I sit there and grit my teeth and watch the clock...This sucks!! This is only day one and I have been told that once I have been off for a full week it will get easier...I have never ever gone a whole week before ...usually not even two days...I hope I can make it!! Good Monday Morning
So today is going to be one of those "Blah" days...it is drizzly and the radar looks like it will be that way all day. I am quitting smoking today...(which is already sucking a lot) I am going to try to stay busy with exercise and cleaning today to keep my mind off of the cigarettes. Wish me luck!! Gotta go and take my vitamins and stuff.. Cat

Staying Home Today
I am staying home today and finishing up on getting the house in order. I refuse to sit in a messy house again this weekend. I am on my second cup of coffee and laundry is in the washer and dryer. I am kinda tired today but then again I have not taken my vitamins yet so I am sure that will change in an hour or so. I will post again later today when I have gotten more done.. Cat

Monday...
Ok so it is the crack of dawn...4:19am to be exact. I have been awake for over an hour...After finally having given up on sleep I am up but still have to be silent so as not to wake anyone else in the house. Great. So now I am sitting here trying to be quiet...listening to the iPod...The Dirty South by The Drive By Truckers...What an awesome band...The current favorite song is Where the Devil Don't Stay...Will post the lyrics later as song of the day... I have a ton of crap to do today...You know how mondays go...start with a huge list for the week of crap to do and only get two or three of them accomplished and then feel like a failure the rest of the week...Seems like a losing pattern I should try to get out of but hey it is my comfort zone..LOL Anyways I am off to make some coffee and get my laundry groove on...Maybe watch some infomercials...LOL Peace Out.. Saturday..
Yep it's the weekend....I don't have a lot planned this weekend except catching up on laundry and housework. I am meeting with Kelly who is in town from Boston tonight for dinner for some girl time and chatting and catching up. Just a Quick Update
Hello all...thought I would post a very quick update. The kids went back to school today..FINALLY!! So I have been spending the day decluttering my living room. (Boy am I glad that we got a bigger dumpster!) Once that is finished I will move on to the kitchen cabinets and from there the kids closets. Tomorrow I am going into Houston with my sister to go to Whole Foods and The Container Store. Friday I will be staying home again and working some more on the decluttering. Anyways. I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year and I will come back on again soon to do another update. Just trying to get caught up on the chaos. Cat
